Hi all...
I'm looking for recommendations for tires for my 87'GT.  With the two
different size tires not all manufactures seem to be able to accommodate.
Also being on the Florida Gulf Coast, the roads are pretty hot which I'm
sure affects wear and tear.

What manufacturers and series works best with the stock suspension of
the GT.  I like good road and cornering handling (I do have the 3.4L
conversion in the engine compartment) but I'm not racing everything on
the road....
Thanks!!!!

Yokohama ES100's.

Best one's I've put on any of my customers cars.  They "just work".  Look
awesome too!

John,
My 88 GT had Road Hugger GT-As on it when I bought it just over a year
ago. The front tires are now ten years old and have approximately 42,000 mi.
on them. They still have nearly half of their tread left. I had to replace
the rears just after I bought the car. I was surprised to find that they
were still available from my local America's Tire Store. I'm very pleased
with the grip in the corners but the hard compound does ride a bit rough on
rough roads.

I have run BF Goodrich Touring TA's and BF Goodrich Traction
TA's. The Touring TA's have good traction and excellent wear,
the Traction TAs have excellent traction and fair wear.
