Hi, me again.

I am going to go see the 87 4 banger tomorrow. The seller (young gal) claims
she had a the master and slave replaced but the pedal is very stiff until
the car warms up. This is a new one on me, any ideas?

Probably not bled properly.  Pretty common problem.

Could also be a bent clutch pedal.  The clutch should be ~1" higher than the
brake (pedal pads that is).
(another common problem, and now easy to fix with the new all steel Fiero
Store one)

If the cold temperatures are below freezing in your area
then stiff while cold can be the result of water in the
slave freezing.

The 87 was a bust!!!!!!! scratch on hood ended up geing a gouge into the
glass through three panels. I won't boor you guys with the rest,, but it was
just as bad. Amazing something can be in that bad a shape with 70,000 miles
on it.

Maybe next time,,,,,,,
