I have a question. The dealer told me I have to get a locksmith to
install my key cylinders. Does anyone have any info on installing these?

I changed out mine a few years back. Doesn't seem to me that it was a
big job. Getting inside the doors is never fun, of course. Now that I
think about it, I changed the locks on the doors, not just the key
cylinders -- from another car. The trunk got new cylinder and used old
lock. Still, if you're handy, you can do it.

Unless your dealer keys lock cylinders, and there aren't may that
still do, then you would have to bring the locks to the locksmith to
have them coded (they come through without tumblers, springs, etc.).

But as for installing them into the car? No, a locksmith is not
needed.
