'88 of course: red, options include AC, cruise,
alloy wheels, & dash pocket. The dash is in
great shape, but it needs the usual console
peices & seat covers (as well as paint of course).
I wonder if this is a one-of-a-kind car with
*only* those options? Drive it home for $2500.
Located in N. Ga. (USA) off of I-85.
You can email me at ImThaDriver at yahoo.

There seems to be some contraversy on the number of 88 t top coupes
produced - Corbin's guide says 91 but another source (t top registry)
says 321   BTW my burgandy 88 t top coupe has the same options

Speaking of rumors, here's another one that I heard: Of the 437 yellow
'88s that were made, half went out for t-tops .... Soo, that makes the
figure at least 200, and that's not including other colors. :)

I know of a source that has the count directly from C&C, complete with
VINs, which sequence they built it in, etc. BUT, I do not believe this
counts cars that were built "outside" of the factory. Still it should
provide some insight. ;)

I'll try and lay hands on a copy of that today.

Meanwhile, happy selling!

I'll be able to break it down when I see the list of VINs, BUT ... I
forgot to grab a copy today when I was out. :(

I'll try and remember Wednesday/Thursday.

Hi Phil,
Thanks for posting. Does your car *only* have those options, or does it
have others too.?
Is your car burgandy or *red*? Is it the factory color?
What is the link to the T-Top registry?

Well I found the T-Top registry: nothing comes up in the search & neither
email address on the site works. So how much creedence do you put in his
numbers?
Does anyone actually KNOW how many were built?

Honestly? No. There were cars built by C&C themselves (which were
documented, and it's this documentation I am working on getting copies
of), and there were kits that were installed outside of C&C's factory.
Since only the documented cars can be counted, the numbers are going
to be off. The kits may or may not have been installed, so they cannot
be counted.

And then there's the cars that were made out of other cars (pieced
together), so who knows where they fall into in the numbers. :)

Weeeeeeeeeeee!

Well I guess I'm mostly interested in how many "factory" cars were built.
One thing I'm sure of: the ones that were "peiced together" do not add to
the total! ;^P
