I know, third post to get the spelling correct in the subject line but
I corrected it before everybody told me about it.

I have a 1988 Fiero that just failed state inspection.  It failed
because of "inner tie rods".  I pulled the dust cover off and look at
tie rods them seem to OK.  The problem is in the rack and pinion unit.
The driver side inner tie rod has what looks like white delron plastic
around it and no bushing in the end of the rack and pinion unit.  The
passenger side has a white delron plastic bushing in the rack & pinion
unit and the shaft has a lot of play in the bushing.

Does both sides take the same bushing?

Are replacement bushings available for both sides.  I have found one
listed for the passenger side.
