1987 FIERO GT - CANNOT FIND PARTS

Hi -

In the process of my left rear tire blowing out on the freeway - it
caused several thousands
dollars worth of damage - due to the razor sharp steel ribbons (from
the tire) cuttuing through
my side panel, bumper, etc.

In any even most has been taken care of except 2 items -

1) The dealer refers to it as "Repl LT Side Marker Lamp (Rear lamps)
Part # 5975139
Its actually about a 12" molding with the red lighting embedded
and is towards the rear of each side of the car probably about 6
inches from the bumper. I have a picture which makes it quite clear
exactly what this part is and would be happy to send it to anyone.
BUT - thus far - I have searched hours on Google web/groups and
cannot find this

2) RT Liner rear (Quarter panel) - Basically it is the mud flips
covering the tires which were ripped to shreds, Same thing - cannot
locate it after hours of searching.

Even the Collision shop (one of the biggest and most reputable
exhausted their resources and say they can't locate either of the
two.. Of course I have more faith in Fiero Lovers :)

Please-  any help - ideas - suggestions - would me most
appreciated..

Thanks so much in advance

talk to Ed Parks at the Fiero Factory.
http://www.thefierofactory.com/

He has a salvage yard, Fiero repair shop, and a stunning reputation.
The sign you see in the photos of the shop was purchased by customers that
were thrilled with his service and shocked that he had a sign support but no
sign in it.

The rear liner should be no big deal.  The GT and Notchie used the same rear
liner (the fronts were different).  There are tons of parts cars around that
you should be able to find a good one in.

As to the marker, The Fiero Store has them new in stock for about $22 or
something like that.http://www.fierostore.com/ .  I don't know of anyone
else that keeps new ones.
