water pump bolts

alright    I'm replacing a water pump on a V6  ( fun it isn't )  the manual
states to use
appropriate sealant on the bolts that hold it to the engine, but fails to
state what
is 'appropriate' as a sealant   ......  any suggestions   ?

A little dab of RTV works fine
