Is anyone aware of a source for replacement gas tanks for Fiero's.
Thanks.

A salvage yard is your only chance.  GM hasn't had any in years and there
are no aftermarket ones.

A further gotcha is that the tank for 1988 Fieros is slightly larger than
the earlier years and will not fit them.

The earlier tanks will fit in an 88 but hold about a gallon less and the
fuel gage will read wrong.  The tank will be empty with somewhere around a
quarter tank showing on the gage.

They must have put an old tank on my 88 GT.  I bought it new and it is out
of gas at 1/4 tank. :-(  The first time really caught me off gard.

Almost all Fieros are out of gas when the gauge reads 1/4 tank- The
gauge isn't very accurate
