1958 marked the first year for the Chevy Impala and Biscayne. They had
a sporty look and a lean, mean street profile. Hot rod or family
cruiser, pick your own style.
This car has a nice straight body, with some surface rust, but no
rust-through. All of the body chrome is there, and the lights all work.
The original straight-6 engine runs, but has a leaking fuel pump and
the "3-on-the-tree" transmission shifts well. The stock front seat has
been removed, but is included. Someone replaced it with a different
reclining seat and shop-built console. All of the glass is fully
intact! The mag wheel rims are from an S-10, but they really compliment
the hot-rod look of the car.
It needs new paint and upholstery, but not much else other than minor
repairs. This is a project car, but has great potential! Email to view
the car, serious inquiries only.
Asking $3500 OBO right now.
(Price will change as I begin restoration)
