Hello everyone,
I am a new member to this group as I have just finished
restoring a 1964 chevy c-10 and sold it a couple of months ago. I have
picked up a new project car being a "1941 chevy
special deluxe" 2 door, Everything is there minus the engine and
transmission. I have a 283 V-8 and 350 turbo tranny ready to drop in.
The last group That I was in 60-66 chevy Yahoo group was very
helpfull in questions that I had about restoring my last rod. I am sure
this group will be just as helpfull.
Does anyone know where I might be able to aquire a after market
parts book for this vehicle and does someone out there manufacture the
engine conversion kit to go from a inline 6 cyl to a small block chevy
?
Any information would be usefull, Thanks alot, Scott  ( Tucson,
Arizona )

Good luck on your project, but please, don't refer to such modification
as "resoration".  Resoration is the process of returning something to
as near as possible ORIGINAL, as built condition.  I have rebuilt
several cars over the years, but I never call it resoration because I
have usually upgraded suspension bushings, warmer cam, etc.  You can't
see these changes, but it isn't "restoration".
