I am working on a 2 Tooth Steering Gear Box.
I needed a new Steering Shaft and Worm Gear.
I am having trouble pressing the Worm Gear on the Shaft.
The main problem is how to hold the Shaft.
Any Suggestions?

You can make your own device to hold the shaft by drilling a block of steel
or aliminum the same diameter as the shaft and then slice the block length
ways and this will be just enough to hold the shaft and not damage it.Good
luck.
