August 20, 2004--Considered a leader in the field of quality automotive
collectibles for the past 25 years, l'art et l'automobile of East
Hampton, Long Island, New York, announced its second-ever on-line
auction to be staged during the month of September 2004. For the past
several years, this long-established gallery of the finest in
automotive related art, literature and memorabilia, has conducted two
catalog sales each year, which has been met with extremely successful
results for both the bidders and those who have consigned their
treasured artifacts.

l'art et l'automobile first entered the world of online auctions
earlier this year.  The gallery was pleased with the results of the
first online auction held in March of 2004 and have put together an
even larger selection of automobilia for their 2nd online auction.
This time the auction is double in size with nearly 400 lots in total.

Included is a large selection of original factory literature from such
names as Alfa Romeo, AMC, Aston-Martin, Bentley, Bricklin, Bristol,
Bugatti, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Citroen, Datsun,
DeLorean, DeSoto, Dodge, Facel-Vega, Ferrari, Ford, Hudson, Jaguar,
Jeep, Jensen, Kaiser, Lincoln, Mercedes, Mercury, MG, Morgan, Nash,
Oldsmobile, Packard, Plymouth, Pontiac, Porsche, Rolls Royce,
Studebaker, Triumph, Volvo, and Willys.

Not to be missed is the collection of racing trophies won by Luigi
Villoresi, Richie Ginther, Froilan Gonzalez, and others. The drivers
collected these trophies in events while driving Ferraris, Lancias,
Porsches, Maseratis and Aston-Martins. Also worthy of attention is a
collection of 24 Heures du Mans participant's plaques presented by
the ACO to the registered drivers in various races including the
automobile race, the truck race and the motorcycle race from various
years.

As always, the auction has a large and varied selection of other
