I want to put a front clip and rear end in a 1936 dodge coupe.  I
would like some advice on putting in the front clip and rear end, also
some advice on the best way to sand the vehicle down and then to
primer it.  Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, can't help you with the subframe conversion. But, on a '37
Plymouth I built into a streetrod I learned that mid-1960's Dodge
D-100 pick-up truck spindles and drum brakes fit right on the '37 tube
axle by simply enlarging the axle's kingpin bores about 3/16" which is
quite easy to do. As for a rear differential, a late 1960's 'Cuda
bolts right on the original springs with no modifications required
other than adding some centering blocks on the spring pads because the
'37 has 1-3/4" wide springs and the 'Cuda uses something like 2-1/2"
wide springs.
