Nope.

I didn't take it, and I don't know who did. Sent to me today and I
thought it was worth sharing.

The Sudan must have some country that is very similar to ours then, 'cause
it looks just like some of our local bush.
Biggus La Great. - 01 Dec 2005 13:49 GMT
Theres about 10 million rumours as to where it came from, but IMHO it
was photoshopped.

Yes, and stories about deadly 4wders make it to the TV weekly.

Whatever happened to that track?  It's all closed up now... can only get up
the beach and along the west side a little.  It'd be great to be able to get
into the interior on that $100p.a. permit!

The middle section's not protected park is it?  Just the outside strip from
memory.  That'd be a shame...

There is a National park about 1/2 way up
the centre from thge southern end was Forestry(only needed the free
forestry permit to use it as long as you didn't drive onto the beach)

I havent been up that centre track for a few years now but you could
drive right up to the national park

I suspect that maybe the QLD Forestry has sold the land to developers, I
didn't notice Bribie Island on the latest permit so it may no longer be
Forestry land

I went for a bit of a drive yesterday as I was on the Island, the track
from 1st Ave near the Telstra tower is still open, wife didn't want me
to take the BA in there so when I get time I'll go for a bit of a look
in nthe cruiser
