I wonder how many know that the Lada isn't only the name of a 4wd but also
the name of a car.
And it's just as ...unn..well you know....as the 4wd :))) Drove one for 5000
miles once...yes miles, thats what the odometer said . Bloody uncomfortable
seats but went like a rocket and had a heater hotter than bushfire. Built
mostly in Russia with bits from Hungary, and Romania, and...and.....

The 4x4 Lada was badged as 'Niva'.
For the dollars forked out they were actually a reasonable buy. They were
$14k new in NZ on road.
