Can anyone recommend an honest mechanic in Brisbane who's good with 4WDs? Somewhere between Darra and Milton would be handy, but I don't mind travelling if they're worth it. So far my experiences with mechanics here range from the old "don't fix the problem but charge like wounded bull anyway" trick to the old "quote $$$$ to replace parts that were quite OK, and still OK years later" trick. It's a fair way from you, but I go to Billabong Offroad at Clontarf, their mechanic Simon is excellent. You'll still get the same issues with problems that are hard to find, but he's always done a good deal for me. Thanks, David Thanks David.
