anyone local to bris-vegas that ...............

is producing biodiesel for theyr own use ?
your thoughts and how successfull ?

Oh btw, what base stock is appropriate and is
there advantages ?

I am looking at it seriously. The main crops are canola and mustard, but
no-one yet has tried hemp. Mainly due the legal rubbish but it is a high
oil-producing seed and the plant grows very well just about anywhere.
Maybe with the price of fuel the gov might allow me to grow 50 acres of
it. Obviously the low THC variety so I don't have people ripping off my
crop. And then figure out some way to harvest it all.

Oh thats great to hear woodee but im not ready for the like grow ya own
seed type thingy but more into the construct ya own processor.
Have ya read any of the forums on bio ?

apologies as I thought there was more links (it was a fair while ago)
but it was from these 2 that I found alot more info. Apparently in the
USA there are places that retail it. That should happen here !!

Ask pat young in aus.cars. not Brisbane but he uses it . or watch out

I run my car on filtered used cooking oil mixed with petrol cheap as chips i
kid you not

and where might you be situated there Gary ?
im on the northside at boondall.
while im not real keen on the ol petrol for a catalyst
and would not put that through my pump
