Without adding in 2039480234920498309 possible variables from tire
size to weather 13/100 is quite accessable.

more like 11L/100klm should be quite achievable
when driven normally

Returning from Nambour yesterday just north of the gateway bridge I
passed a very new Cruiser and was amused to note a certain little boy
cartoon on the right rear quarter depicting the kid taking a pee on the
brand name Nissan ...

And the URL for that "poll" would be.........?

Sorry to be pedantic, but given that you have told some big porkies in
the past, it seems like a good idea to check

Or did a "mate" tell you about the poll?

Yahoo groups.

you should be smart enough to find it yourself.

or do you want your mate to tell you about it? Nothing like tryin to
help people.

ok so the Nissan is a gas guzzler too
tell me again why they are so good?

I can get 11 out of my cruiser if I don't thrash it
I average about 12 now but I sit on 105-110 with the aircon on most of
the time
about 800klms a week mostly hwy

Driveline, strength, bullet proof motor 4.2 diesel, nearly every yota
comp truck runs GQ/GU diffs, smooth to drive and feel like your
driving something more than a Morris 1100.

Get the series 3 GQ. (95-97) The early ones had a few problems, (cant recall
what they were ......steering? suspension?)

It's always got me buggered why people are so focused on fuel economy with
4wds. I don't drive mine much, so I suppose that explains it a
bit...........I only use my GQ for trips, camping etc, not a daily driver.
There's so much more to the cost of 4wds than just MPG. Servicing,
depreciation, parts, repairs............

Anyway, I'd put up with a 4.2 GQ for reliability, toughness,
longevity........blah blah

Because Nissans use only a 1 gearbox, diff & CVset every 500,000km compared
to Toyota's using 2 or 3 of each :P
Figjam (AKA Biggus Dickus) - 12 Sep 2006 02:34 GMT

Yep, you cant wear a drivechain out with lack of power and speed.

And, yes before ya jump on ya high horse, I joking.
