guten tag everyone got funny whistling sound in the engine when I turn it off in my bloody Nissan Pooftfinder. Could that be Toyota blowing whistle on Nissan ??? :-) seriously, what could that be? Thanks in advance for any comments. sounds like a vacuum hose leaking check the brake booster hoses and any other hoses that you can find connected to the manifold vacuum system(or vacuum pump if it's a diesel) when you turn it off try pressing the brake pedal a few times, if it changes the whistling noise then it's a vacuum leak Kev > > guten tag everyone > > [quoted text clipped - 12 lines] > > Kev Could also be the a/c receiver equalising.
