I know of 3 family groups also going to Buggery Bend - I remember one trip
we were out there just enjoying a spot of fishing, camping etc. 10 pm these
dickheads pull up, out comes the big generator, big speakers and boom boom
boom the music started...... I got out of bed and went and abused the hell
out of them.
After a very long night we got up and did some whip cracking by the creek in
the morning in the hope to wake em all up. Next minute they were abusing us,
accusing us of firing a gun at them!!!!!!!!!!! We ignored them. An hour
later the copper from Mt Garnet arrived to confiscate our "gun" LOL.......
End result was the copper stayed and had a slice of damper and a XXXX with
us after he sent the revellers packing... funny really.
Kathy.

I know exactly how you feel.
I copped a bit of stick in this group a couple of years ago for
admitting that I dosed a noisey generator with a cup of sugar (after
asking the owner to move it or moderate the use).
We are hoping there are not too many others there - we usually go
downstream a bit over some fairly rough stuff that discourages the
Urban Assault Vehicle brigade.

Hmmm now this is a confession
We were in a camp area in NT a few years ago and ran into an old mate who we
had not seen for ages. Had a few wines, and at 10pm went and asked the camp
that had this thumping generator if they could turn it off. The response is
not mentionable here.
Anyway hubby and said mate went and peed on generator, snuck back and geees
it stunk.
When finally it stopped at 11pm we cheered and clapped and were joined by
all around the campground.
Often wonder if they noticed smell the next time they went to start it. BTW
we are older, milder and wouldnt do that stuff in our middle age! :P

Why did you wrap a fresh fish around the motor, that wouldve stunk something
rotten for ages. Or a nice big cow pat on the START button. :O)

Pouring 2 litres of coke into the fuel tank worked a treat too when a bunch
of morons thought they would leave their generator going all night.

We are off to Kingfisher Bay on Fraser Island for about 10 days (on the
boat) and then when we get home we intend hooking up the new Camper Trailer
and heading south as far as Western Plains Zoo, Blue Mountains and Sydney,
then back home again up the coast.
