Hi all,

I have just bought myself a 99 hilux dual cab. I was just wondering how
others with the same vehicle have gone about removing the factory
speakers and  installing new perhaps bigger speakers. Is it possible to
fit 6x9's in the doors? Or is there another/better alternative to a
decent sound system in this car?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance
Adam

If you have 1/4 light window at the front yes, 6x9s are one way to go
certainly.

Factory speaker positions are a great place for tweeters to sit (there are
better places but they are well hidden there)

Better? Whats your budget, all depends on that. Are you amping? Head unit
only? What music do you listen to?
