We all know those cute little computer symbols called "emoticons," where:
:) means a smile and
:( is a frown.
Sometimes these are represented by
:-)
:-(
Well, how about some "ASSICONS?"
Here goes:
(_!_) a regular a.s
(__!__) a fat a.s
(!) a tight a.s
(_*_) a sore a.s
{_!_} a swishy a.s
(_o_) an a.s that's been around
(_x_) kiss my a.s
(_X_) leave my a.s alone
(_zzz_) a tired a.s
(_E=mc2_) a smart a.s
(_$_) Money coming out of his a.s
(_?_) Dumb a.s
Just thought that Id share that one, I liked it.
To those whom found it disgusting, well you probably wouldn't have scrolled
down this far anyway so I don't give a (__X__)
:O)

IRC (Internet Relay Chat) is a terminal type based messaging system
it's been around since the days of text only internet
the extensive use of the even older ACSII art was used to great effect
on IRC and of course the emoticons and the "New" SMS shortcut spelling
started here as well, well before the days of SMS
if you want to have a play download the program called mIRC
still plenty of networks and servers with millions still using it
chatting and transfering files etc
I still use it often
