Folks,
I was down at the creek crossing this arvo; washing some of the mud off the
Landcruiser. Thought I'd make some use of all the water flowing past at
present...
As I was washing a months mud & dirt off the bullbar, I note both the
park/indicator lights in the bullbar are holding a few mm of water inside the
lenses. These are the rectangular lights(roughly 2 inches by about 8 inches)
that have been fitted to bullbars for over 15 years. I think they might be a
Toyota light, but are pretty generic these days.
I was wondering if anyone had seen an LED replacement for these lights?
Preferrably something sealed like the submersible trailer lights I have up on
the back of the tray.
Thanks in advance.

Rod there are LED strip lights that are similar in lentgh but about 1/2
the width in size available
they are normally used on the rear of utes as indicators, mate of mine
has them in red and amber
all LED lights are waterproof, the LEDs and resistors are sealed in
resin with just the hookup wires running out the rear
check a few LED light manufacturers like Hella, Narva etc, I'm sure they
all ahve websites

Email Narva and request a copy of their automotive products/lighting
catalogues. They are great to keep on the shelf for replacement relays,
flasher switches, fuses and lights.
