hi , i have  a 1988 holden jackaroo  4wd with auto trans .

when i put it into drive , it is taking of in another  gear 2 nd , i
think.
but when i put it into 1st , it takes of in 1st , but when its any
other gear  (reverse is fine )  its sorta struggling to take of.
trans fluid is fine .
i tried adjusting the kickdown either way  from where it should be and
doesnt make any differance.

any ideas as to what could be wrong ???
