Hi

Would anyone have a copy of this mag? I am wondering if the review of the
D4D Toyota Prado gave any more info than whats been released in other mags /
internet sites.

What I am wondering the most is how it goes in the heavy sand etc... and the
"real" fuel economy.

If someone could maybe provide the review text / scan or maybe a website
with some useful information about this vehicle it would be greatly
appreciated.

email: gkars at big pond dot net dot aeyou

Thanks!

Gary.

>and the "real" fuel economy.
Then why are you looking in a 4wd maggo?? they are only there to
appease the manufacturers.. if they said anything bad, which they
NEVER do, they would be banished from test vehicles next time..
happened yrs back to a bike mag.. kawasaki refused to give them bikes
anymore.

Hi,

I know what you mean about the mags saying what the manufacturers want them
to say, but I did see the hilux with the D4D  getting applauded for how much
better its economy was compared to other makes.

My wife got the the current 4x4 monthy with a review of one of the things
and I may as well have just read the specs off the toyota site, so thats why
I was wondering what the other mag has said about it.

And also if anyone on the group has anything to say about the vehilce would
be much appreciated also!

Thanks,

Gary.

The Western 4WDriver magazine (Autumn 2007 edition) gave it a test run
through a 'diverse test route' and came up with a figure of 10.2 km/lt. They
claim that the offroad abillity is the best you can get in a family 4x4. The
only critisms was its price and its ground clearance.
Ground clearance is 181mm, compared to a Subaru Outback at 200mm.

Martin
