Anyone done the track from Putty to Rylstone?

Wondering what it's like?

Various maps have it marked as everything from a walking track
to a 'proper' road (which it isn't)

Its a graded fire trail maintained by the NPWS. It is also closed to
motor vehicles and has been since 1997 when the Wollemi Wilderness zone
was declared. hope this helps.
