There aren't any, no matter how long you cook them they are still too
tough for most people.

Try river rocks soup or brazed bloodwood.

 Geez!
 Where would ya start :-)
Most folks just wack in the roast and vegies and get on with it. The skill part is the supply of coals etc.
Not too much ya cant do with it, what did ya have in mind ?

Such as?

If you want to practise camp oven cooking at home, try doing stuff in an
electric frypan. Then all you need to learn is how to control the fire
outdoors to get the same effect.

As someone hinted; coals.

One of the things I find important is to have the "Ridged" type lid, the one
with a raised edge to keep the coals in place. By varying the amount of the
coals you can make the heat in the oven even for a better result when
baking.

You might have a look at the BushKing from Hillbilly. It's made from spun
steel, the lid has a raised edge for the coals, the lid also doubles as a
frypan- just the thing for brekky. Comes with an aluminium mesh ring that
sits inside above your roast to cook the vegies on. We've got one-
obvoiusly- and we love it. Nice & light too, compared to a cast one. Website
shows how it all works.

They aren't cheap, they're made here & built to last. No, I don't have
shares...

My never fail dump cake.

Pre heat oven

put some oil in the bottom.  Just wet the bottom with some cooking oil.

layer bottom with two cans of pie filling, your choice, we like pineapple
and cherry.

Add one box of dry cake mix, spread it around evenly

add one quarter pound butter, cut up into squares and lay it on top.

Cover and cook for fifteen minutes with coals on top and bottom.

Check to see if it is done. Usual cooking time is 20 minutes to one hour.

If it is not done, keep cooking till it is.

It is good even if it is not done.

Put ice cream on bottom of bowl, spoon cake on top of Ice cream.
