I like the engine... I like the chassis.. The manual gearbox seems good..
They (Kia) have been making military vehicles for decades..

So what are your opinions...

Especially on a bit of hardening...  Suspension and handling seems to
point to being modified for "Soccer Moms"..

The bit that says "Kia" might be a dealbreaker for many.

As the Linux is for many others...  ;)

Kia's rep isn't great.
But I remember not that long ago the Hyundia brand that Alan Bond
brought to Australia.
Some friends had the original Excel coupe; and on both cars the doors
fell off while driving along.
Funny, but not that funny.
Now hyundia even has the i30 car that has won aclaim as best in class.

All car builder start somewhere.  And our established brands in the
market have had some clanger's over the years.

Out in the Mount Isa area at one stage we used to use rolled-over
Hilux's as mile post markers..  LOL..  Now it's a bit of a benchmark..

as in most cases the military vehicle quality is a far cry from the
quality of general purpose civilian production cars

you only have to look at the Hummer to see that

Thanks Kev

Hummer's gee whiz..  I believe they brought "green" version recently,
probably still disgusting economy.

If you have time take the Kia for a drive, very non-military on inside
and finish.
