I'm thinking of putting in my NF pajero (6G72 SOHC) a magna 6G72 SHOC
engine but I was told that the internals of the engine are different
and I would blow the engine in short time. Can someone explaine

I would think that the engine model being the same would inply that the
engine is the same, just that one faces the wrong way in the car
magna engines were a popular swap into the L300 vans
the thing you may have to watch is the gearbox as the engine may have
different bolt patterns for auto and manuals(they did in the Sigma)
How exactly you would blow up an engine just by using it in a different
vehicle?
