Want a steering damper for the 4runner but was wondering if its worth buying something like OME or EFS or just go Toyota. The genuine ones are way smaller in diameter etc but it its not up to 4x4ing then Id go for an after market unit such as EFS or the like. Anyone have experience in this stuff? Had many years of good service from Bilstein's and were fitted to all position's on a Range Rover. Particularly pleased with the performance on the old road between NT and SA when there were still 900km of corrugations and cruising reasonably well. Now have OME's and they just don't feel as good, but haven't had a chance to do a long run to really find out more. Wished that rather than convenience of buying off the shelf that I had ordered and waited on delivery of more of the same. PhilD |
