Windscreen replacement

Need to replace the front screen in the 4runner and as there are several places that can do the job,
I'm wondering who uses what quality glass. Many screens I see these days are severely flawed from an
angle (Very wavy and obscured vision looking out the screen to the left hand side, more noticeable
at narrower angles).

Does anyone know who does the best glass replacements or who I should avoid for cheap arse products.
If your gunna bag someone please state why your saying what you are.  Its only $300 for the job but
in my mind $300 for a lemon is $300 lost.

Any help or advise will be appreciated thanks.

No idea. AFAIK, all windscreens are just made from two sheets of glass.
cut to size, maybe a bit of screen printing, then heated, if needed, to
deform to shape, and  finally laminated and pressure/heat treated to
create the final windscreen.

AFAIK, the choices are "brand", Windscreens O'Brien sourced or Pilkington
sourced windscreens and about a decade + ago, all the glass for WOB was
from Pilkington anyway.

I suspect it is the luck of the draw really.
