Hi all, been looking on web for info on engine swap for Daihatsu rocky with
Toyota 3y motor, any one know what will bolt straight in without adapter
plate?. What would be best engine?

2.8l Diesel??

what are you looking for
the 4Y will be an improvement 2.2L v 2.0L
22R may fit
if it has a 3Y then I would guess any engine from the Hilux range will
fit with maybe just engine mounts

Rick, if its posiblke to have more information how you did your swap, maybe
pictures? I want to change my engine. It consumes a lot of gas and is
underpowered. Let me know if youre improve youre job with other engine.
