No worries.....
But.
I don't think "my days as a 70s student radical" travels too well in
2004. Those of us who were there have mostly migrated upwards to
positions of power and responsibility and would prefer to forget some
of the excesses of the 70s.
Modern late teens and twenty-somethings don't understand what it was we
were so stirred up about, and, on the basis of the governments they
elect, couldn't give a fat rat's arse anyway.
More important things like the right clothes, the less than 3 year old
car and DVD players have pushed trivial things like civil and political
rights, engagement in society and worthwhile belief and value systems
into the shadows.

Boy are you lucky. I spent consideable time drafting some waffly post about
how not all youth was like that, and how each story should be told yadda
yadda........then the power went off !
