I'm finally cashed up and ready to buy a 4wd.
I'd like to get a SD33T MK LWB, like the one I used to have, as first
preference. GQ's are probably out of my price range. ($4-8K). So I'm
probably restricted to mid 1980's Cruisers or Patrols.
Ideally I'd buy diesel, LWB, 7 seats, air cond, Qld rego'd and RWC.
I'm in Townsville, but willing to travel to NSW or Vic for the right car.
Anything else similar considered.
TIA

Wouldn't mind a shorty, but I'd have to tie the kids to the
roof................Hmmmm. nice idea!
Thanks anyway.
There's a bloke in Brisbane looking for a shorty. Check wanted section of
www.outerlimits4x4.com.au

It does seat 5, I take it that you have more than 2 kids, worth a shot.

I think you've been after some of the same ones I have, what happened with
the MQ from brisbane for $6.5k that was on outer limits? The seller never
got back to me. Seemed very vague about service history and the like. I
since heard after market turbos on the 3.3 could break cranks anyway..
still looking

Yeah, he's a bit of a turkey, that bloke. I emailed him several times after
info, but he only gave me info that I already knew.........general specs of
Patrols etc. I think I'd rather a 4wd that hasn't been tampered with. Extras
such as snorkels, bull bars etc is fine, but suspension lifts and non
genuine turbos.......no thanks.
Yes, it IS true about turboing a SD33. The SD33T is a (slightly) diferent
motor, built to handle the turbo.

Barnsey,
I've got a MK LWB SD33T, 7 seats, air etc that I'm having trouble
justifying keeping. If Sydney's not too far to travel, email me.

How much are you asking for it?
And the usual questions about rust, mechaniacl condition, K's travelled,
etc. Photos too if you can.

Tried to Email you but wouldn't send.
