Greetings,
I notice Autobarn have 2000psi Gerni pressure cleaners on
special atm for $199.  Are these any good?  Are they strong enough to be
used to 'degoop' the underside of a 4x4 after offroading, or am I better off
just going to the Superwash and spending $6 every time I want to do it?  Are
they any good for generally washing the car?  I see they've got a detergent
injector of some description on them, but are they as good as a sponge and
some elbow grease?

if you are only spending $6 at superwash then it is good enough, in fact it
might be to powerful for the duco so don't spray to close. I have also found
that detergent sprayers are low pressure so that it might be useless but
just check the model. I have gone to high pressure spray under the car and a
quick blast on the duco then wash with normal carwash in a bucket.

I got one today.  It's perfect for what I want to do with it.  Not too big
(fits nicely in my storage shelves in the garage) but certainly powerful
enough to 'degunk' the underside of the car.  The detergent sprayer is, as
you say, a low pressure arrangement.  I tried it with the CT18 'Superwash' I
got and it works a treat :-)
