Samual Cragston - 27 Feb 2006 05:09 GMT I have a 04 TW ES Magna Sedan I had it since new I have currently covered 22,000 or so on it but I have had numerous of problems with the car. Drivers door does not shut properly I have taken it to the dealers a few times but still not fixed. The passenger seat makes a creaking sound. The steering wheel air bag cover has warped and its on its second one now and that is beginning to warp again!. Cold mornings the car splutters and almost stalls tried to get it fixed a few times again not fixed. The hand brake bearly works but at least the car is an auto so I can put it into park but still no excuse for a crappy handbrake.
I guess I got conned into the 5-10 warranty job.

Of all those faults the engine tuning problem and poor H/brake action are the worst,..as far as the AB cover, does the car sit with the sun beating in on that cover?
Dealers are a mixed bag,..trouble is Mitsy HQ maybe somewhat distracted these days to listen...can you take the car to another Mitsy dealer for the fixes?

I am going to buy one of them steering wheel covers to reduce the heat off the wheel.
I might have to try a different dealer I got the car in Dandenong Mitsubishi & Proton. I use to drive a 91 Mercedes 190E and it was basically trouble free and I covered up to 200,000 on it. I thought I needed something newer.
