Does anyone here do the Palmer St ratrun? It's getting more and more
congested lately. Either less people are using the tunnel or more people
have found out you can turn left at the right turn only sign without getting
booked. I did it with a cop car behind me last week ;)

Anyway, what's with the phasing of he lights? In afternoon traffic Palmer St
gets about 20 seconds. The other direction gets about 1 minute, and of half
of that there is nobody actually going through the lights.  f.ckers...

If you're gonna be a dog at least be a good dog!

I'm always amused at the constant stream of cars doing that illegal left
turn.
The other day I had to go to Woollomooloo, and needed to do the *right* hand
turn - myself and the other passengers giggled because we were the odd one
out.  :) :)

Yeah I noticed the phasing too.

Yep.

Will we see you posting a whine when you do get booked for doing it?

Umm because they don't want you using it?

Everyone does it because the RTA have illegally closed several public
streets to benefit a corporation - plain and simple. If a cop booked
someone doing that the papers would be all over it.

And yes the only way the RTA can get some back is by keeping the lights
red as long as possible.

So, you can claim 'custom and use' of the road closed by GovCo?
Good news.
You can force them to re-open it.
IF you can afford to go for them against the combined might of
taxation revenue. BTW, GovCo has no scruples, they'll even use that
part of the revenue that's yours to beat the sh.t outa you.
