The QLD govt was pissed off that one of the shipment intended for Italy was
in their lot. You have to maintain standards:
"The Hummers, once valued at $250,000 each, were put up for sale after the
Government recalled them in May 2003. One of the fleet was able to operate
only in reverse."

| They claim rising petrol prices are a reason the Hummers didn't fetch much??

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< There are no petrol powered versions.
WRONG, as usual:
H2 & H3 Hummers are all avail. with GM Gasoline [Petrol/ULP] donks ONLY
H2 = 6L V8 Vortec
H3 = 3.5L IL5 Vortec
ONLY Petrol NO DIEsel avail. on above 2.
H1 [the full size army job] has been fitted with prototype 8.1L V8
Gasoline engine, but no production plans yet, as the H1 is
mainly a armed forces unit, read DIEsel.The H2 & H3 are JoePublic [aka
JohnDoe] and hence Gasoline/Petrol/ULP FITTED @ US$140k only spastics
buy it anyway, the main volume sellers are H2/H3
SO, 2/3rds of the Hummer range are GASOLINE/PETROL O N L Y
"Never enter Karussell when on the brakes! I have gone round there on
the roof, I know what I'm talking about."

Useless rubbish as usual. If you read the article, you'll discover the
Hummers were purchased in the mid-90s. Only the H1 was available at that
time, and it was only available with deisel.

Dunno.
Myself, maybe be interested, however if no diesel option
they can shove it up their kybers, totally *not* interested.
