You'd want those doses to be pretty small.

The mind numbing late night word games sort of put you orf it (while
the contestants are sleeping or doing something equally as boring, so
they need the word games).

It can have it's moments, however fairly far between, anyone is able
to have the same amount of fun at the office at work (ie: not much).

I don't think your moments were that small. :-)

Big Brother sucks.  I hope less people watch it this time so it never
gets run again.

How are ratings actually established?

They have a box on top of the tele I believe in a certain number of
households. Those watching are meant to push a button to indicate the number
of people watching.

Funny thing is that I have never seen or heard of such a thing out of all
the people I know.

My wife and I made a conscious decision a few months ago that we will not
watch _any_ BB at all.  There is typically about 2 minutes of content per
hour of broadcast.  Going to bed early is a better option.  :-)

The state of infrastructure in New South Wales is a disgrace.
I'm a Libran Engineer. I don't argue, I discuss.

Now, it depends whether you're counting (a) the entire exercise including
turning on the equipment, (b) from connecting the interface to
disconnecting, or (c) the actual download.  :-p

For the average Oz bloke:

(a) 2 seconds to turn on the equip.
(b) They say 2 minutes is about right.
(c) Depends on the number of packets.

Good fecking grief. Watching this on it's first night, there is not
even {potential} eye candy ?!?!? Not impressed. CATV, in the form of
NatGeo and Disco will be a better option.

Sssh, it's a bit hyperactive and does not like camping out. Gets
stressed if does not fully understand surroundings, and need thick
dark curtains, otherwise wakes up early in the morning :-)

Nice person though.
