In terms of affordability, no one else even comes close", agree with
that, right on the money.Made in Austria

Well you could do a lot worse then get one of these in "brilliant
black"

20" tyres [tires] and a MASSIVE 13.25L sump, is that some kinda record?

13speaker/322 watt stereo, Brembo brakes etc, loaded with gear, done a
great job really

pffffft D.O.D does not work in this edition, and reqs. PULP

Just noticed that there's only three colours available, and they're all
neutral - bit of a shame.
(silver, black, and grey). I still want one though.

Have you heard how the Germans pronounce Daimler-Chrysler?

"Daimler"

$72k is a pretty incredible price considering its only 20% dearer than the
5.7L 300C, but offers more than 20% more power.

It just proves that the price of the 5.7L 300C is over-inflated.  In the US,
the 6.1L V8 costs about 40% more than the 5.7L.

I like the car, but this new larger Hemi seems to be using traditional
technology rather than modern engine evolution to achieve its greater
outputs.

Well, its in the money bracket that most buyers wont be able to go near, but
it is a special car. What's impressive is its weight: only 1.88T and over
400hp NA. But its not multi valve or VVT. Its rev-limit is 6200, so those
valve improvementsmay have produced even more power,..but where do you stop?
Build a smaller motor, achieve the same HP and get better than 14L-100kms.

14l/100klm still makes it an expensive car to run and its not cheap to
buy, they won't sell very many with those numbers.
You can get equal or better performance at a much cheaper price from a
Holden V8 which is also cheaper to run.

Well, the Lamborghini Espada only had 15" wheels (in an era when 13 and
14 were the norm) but, IIRC, took something like 15L of oil on an oil
change with filter.  Further, IIRC, the air filter was common to several
models of tractor, but the V12 ran one per bank.

The state of infrastructure in New South Wales is a disgrace.
I'm a Libran Engineer. I don't argue, I discuss.

The fact that the car is made in Austria is a bad thing.  If they imported
it from the US instead, it could be imported without any duty, due to the
free trade agreement.  But I guess only Austria makes the RHD versions :(
