You would think all these awards or so called awards for the 380 a lot of
people are rushing up at the mitsu dealers to buy one.

But the awards has done SFA for them.

You can buy awards, but even with a $5k price drop you can't buy buyers.

What this?
An advanced LPG Autogas-powered version of Mitsubishi's new 380 family
sedan, featuring the new fourth generation electronic fuel injection (EFI)
system, debuts at the Perth Motor Show today.

Hardly a win at all.

Just another bloody 380 thread!

That should bring them out in LPG only form.  Every taxi company would buy
one because of the warranty.  All they would have to do is advertise
"Mitsubishi 380.  It cost f.ck all to run."  They'd sell them in droves.

What the f.ck did they win?

Pretty soon about the only "winning" associated with 380's is when you get
one for free in a showbag. They sure as sh.t can't sell the things.

has to be said..

again.

They need to be AWD.
All of them.
The fact that they aren't and the fact that the previous model had
that option developed (here?) is the real indication of corporate
intent.
I reckon Mitsubishi/DC is and has been desperate to piss off the
aus.manufacturing operation - probably since they were building sigmas
if the truth be known.
They are just playing the game to get out as gracefully as they can
given the number of people that need to be made unemployed in the
process.
Nissan well and truly beat them to the punch:-)

People still buy showbags?

A lot of money for a big bag with a lot of space with some worthless plastic
thinamabobs.

You obviously need experience in the fine art of raising children, Dan. How
old is your little girl? Wait until she gets taken to her first Show. A
showbag is a cheap price to pay for peace and quiet. :-)

Been there, done that - three times. Now have a granson to repolish old
skills.

Ah, nice.

By that time showbags will be about 40 bucks each, and she'll want at least
20 :)

They are - from the moment their mother teaches them to sulk.
Or scream. As the case may be.

She's about 6 months old and was an anal birth from her abiriginal
mother. For those that do not know about aboriginal births, they start
out as a bowl movement and
