OK. Lets add it up.
190 kilowatts + Front wheel drive + cheap price = lots of dead
youngsters, when the Torque steer comes into play on a wet corner.
Sounds great value on paper. But will those that can afford it have the
skills to drive it..
For the same money, Id say a WRX would be safer and just as fast.

Less would be killed if it was RWD right, when oversteer comes into play?
The current FWD cars do not torque steer badly, because they are built
not to fall off the road whenever you jump on the gas.

To say nothing of the Focus RS when it comes here :-)

Yep, 190kw front wheel drive is crazy.
And it looks like a girl car, esp from the back.

Traction control (TC) will help address steering issues.

There is no Traction Control no the Subaru AWD system.

There isn't. When I took a Subey Liberty test drive some months ago, the
dealer told me that TC is integrated in the AWD system.

Maybe not.
"Featuring an innovative torque control system which senses steering
angle in the first two gears to help eliminate torque steer (the bugbear
of high-powered front-wheel drive cars), the 3 easily out-powers the
current hot hatch crop".

AWD would be a good idea with that power to weigh ratio.

AWD would reduce the power to weight ratio. Peak torque at 3000 RPMs
sounds like it will be a bit laggy too, so a fast launch will require
clutch frying dumps. I couldn't possibly be wrong. :)
