Incorrect , union cant ban a vehical not otherwise manufactured in
that country , if you were correct the sedan wouldn't have been sold
therer.

The monaro was allowed in limited amounts. The unions would not allow
the ute or the sedan.

Remember the auto union is a very powerful force in the US. Its also the
major cause of GM's decline in financial status.

Funny really, as the last time I was over there, America was *full* of
imported vehicles.

Here's a couple of articles on the artificial trade barriers that affected
the exporting of the Monaro...

Yeah, but that's US Government policy that has bugger all to do with unions,
and it's applied to a great many items not just cars.

How many of them are made by GM?

Who gives a f.ck?

Both GM and Ford have imported cars made in other countries, and stand by
for them to do so again.

Bloody hell last I read the 380 was in Lexus class. :-)
European car fans are going to throff at the mouth.
I wouldn't class it with the European brands at all but the VE SS is pretty
good value for money for a large car with a V8 donk. :-)

That's not a very recommendation when you consider MB has a bad quality
reputation at the moment.
