Me mate's one won't have any part in it, actually
dies to the point of stalling while driving up a hill.

Me 'lux with 7% or so Shellite runs to 90 to 95% the
performance of ordinary diesel with Shellite mixed
in with the boiled/filtered cooking oil - and can
still wheel spin.

Only got 15 mins or so to look into it today, however
that's weird?!?!. There is electronic management shite
on Smufs though.

I'll have to take a look at how everything is set up,
however now have two puzzles to solve:

(a) in me purely mechanical 'lux used cooking
oil and shellite is almost as good as bought
    diesel why?
(b) it don't work for a Smurf with pretty much the
    same engine why?

I'll have to study up on it, and perhaps have a bit of a play
around with the Smurf this weekend to work out what the
(no)go is.

Meanwhile I'll boil up some more oil for me 'lux in the
background :-)

IIRC you have an aftermarket turbo and have not altered the already
considerable compression ratio.

Smurf came with a turbo from the factory, so I wonder what it's
compression ratio is.

From memory the engine I had was 17:1
the NA 2.4L i think is 20:1
