yeh, if I wanted to wait till then, I guess that'd make sense.  As I wanted
to look into it to get some earlier ideas, I thought I'd ask here.

OK, there'll be a black one, a couple of greys, a couple of silvers, a
couple of blues, reds, an orange and a couple of greens.
Maybe a purple and certainly a gold.

Those ones that look like mandarins seem to be popular currently. And Lime
green (Raiders colour).

That green colour hasn't been available since 2004.  And until the VE
is on sale, the last time you could get an orange Commodore was 2000.

Well im sorry to say that nobody else is making the holden ve, so you
will just have to wait till holden release it.

Try a Holden dealer, I'd be surprised if they weren't taking orders for
VE's already.

There was a colour and trim chart getting around a few week ago, but it
only had the names of the colours, not actual pictures.

>From memory, your options are Heron White, Redhot, Ignition (dark
orange), Provence (bluish-silver), Vespers (Dark blue), Odyssey
(bluish-grey), Phantom (black), Impluse (bright blue), a new silver, a
gold colour, possibly a dark grey and a lavender-purple thing called
Morpheous.  Think Morpheous and Ignition are only SV6/SS colours.

As I said, that's only from memory, but surely all Holden dealers would
have that chart by now (as it was probably one of them who leaked it to
ls1.com.au in the first place...)
