To recall a vehicle you first need to sell some, low volume manufactures like Mitsubishi Australia are unlikely to have many public recalls because they could rectify any faults on the hand full of cars they make by doing the repairs in the company car park. They are actually better than Tim Tams, might be thicker chocolate, they hold together for longer while the Tim Tams are always in danger of collapsing. There was an article in the Phoenix paper last week about this. The Japanese govt told Toyota that they must improve their products, and make a monthly report to the govt. Good to know that the govt of a country like Japan stll cares enough about its products that it will slap the hands of the largest car company in Japan.
