Thanks Christ for that!
Can u imagain the engine/gearbox combo & model mix ups?
Still, N/R should have done a deal FIAT style, bailed out in a few
years, and taken GM for a few billion$, it was called in the past
Generous-Motors for good reason :-)
FIAT got'em a beauty, N/R could have too.
Let GM die, only have themselves to blame, making overpriced and
underdone products that nobody wants anyway....[Dont giggle FaRt ,your
just as bad]
Can make money in the auto industry, take a leaf out of BigT's book,
make a high quality products that the punters want, not that hard
really....

I think GM will be okay...most of their divisions other than in the US
are doing well lately, and in the US they seem to be catching on to the
idea that you need to more than build pickups to make money in the car
industry. They seem to be working through the problems they caused
themselves with employee benefits, so I'm not overly concerned.

I guess re-introducing RWD cars into the field will help after many years of
FWD beige boxes. Also the idea of the VE being exported to USA as a Pontiac
which has me wondering what will Pontiac do to the front end of the VE when
that happens.

Saw an "artists impresion" of it as the 2008 Grand Prix on the cover of
the last Motor Trend mag. Believe me, Dan, you don't wanna know.
