21 days Caravanning, to a Caravanners Meeting in Berri, down to Kingston, Robe and Mt Gambier for a crayfish pig-out :-) Back up to Keith for a 50th School reunion, then over to Pt Fairy and along the coast to Anglesea. Quick visit to the Ford Development Centre in Geelong, then Sherparton, Tamworth and Toowoomba before returning home.
6,284 km, a lot of head and side winds, 90-100kph, ave 17.47mpg or 16.19 L/100km.
Cheers, Ron

You've just named what I consider to be (and I know I've once spoken about this and you mentioned growing up there) some of _the_ most beautiful country in Aus. A cosy mixture between flora and fauna _and_ a type of no mans land (if you get my meaning). It might not be the same type of beauty as some see in tassie rainforests, but i like it (I also like crossbred mongrel dogs over most purebreeds, as they have a sort of dignity and character all of their own, without any pretense)

(and seriously, welcome back mate)

The trip along the great Ocean Rd was fantastic. 28 degrees, no cloud and little wind. I took some beautiful photos along there. :-) Also have some beauties of S. Aust Coast.
I'm going to put them on my web page, later.
Cheers, Ron

Apart from two weekends, I spent the rest of the time trying to keep on the schedule that SWMBO wanted.
We will do it again when time is not a problem, then I'll be able to call in and annoy many :-)

Holdens and the "M" word? what's any of that?, some of us here don't regard either brand with any dislike or like, however like to read it - for some reason totally unknown :-)
