when did they install this? just now I start getting late reminder notices
that I have not paid my speeding ticket, I just received my 3rd separate
notice today, and all my 12 points are gone (one was during double demerit).
I didn't even know there was a camera in the tunnel at the marsh/Bexley
junction. if the reminders didn't come so late I would have known to slow
down before getting the other tickets. instead I get them all months after
the event and all close together.

I am going to hold off paying this last one so I can drive longer. I wont
need my car for a while after June, I hope I can push it that far so I can
do the 3 months suspension with no loss of freedom.

It was not so very long ago that people thought that semiconductors were
part-time orchestra leaders and microchips were very, very small snack
foods. Geraldine Ferraro

Bwaaahahahahhahahahahahhahahhahahhaaaaa!
So you work on a policy of speeding everyehere except where you know
there are cameras.

You're lucky to have kept your licence this long.....

Oh and the cameras have been in the tunnel since before the M5 was
opened.

Yep, I hardly ever use the M5, but I do see the Marsh st westbound onramps
and they have bloody great big signs telling you there is a speed camera
ahead, just like all fixed cameras in NSW.

Oz is correct, they've been there since it opened.

Matt.

Yep in the tunnel, both directions.
They were installed prior to the opening

As OzWanker said, there's a camera in each direction in the tunnel, ever
since day 1 of the tunnel opening. Eastbound it is somewhere just before
the Forest Rd exit from memory. Look up on the right hand side above the
panels, you will see the flash unit painted black. It's an IR flash IIRC
so you won't see it flash. Westbound it is somewhere in the same
vicinity. The citybound camera near the runway is no more, but there are
two heading in the opposite direction a few hundred metres apart.
