Will never be defeated.
In two months the unions will run Australia.
Time to move to NZ
Manly suck, I'd rather be dead than support them.

So you are supporting the boss by sticking with whatever bs he feeds you .
Oh you'll never know it's bs, you'll be to scared to check in case he
disapproves?
U have 1 prize dork of the post.

One must also know how to tell genuine bs from truth. The boss is not the
enemy unless you make him to be.

I know of a union official who used to read his comics in the toilet
while at work for like 60 minutes, and who would waste time at work.
He has the hide to represent the union here in the Hunter with his
comments in the newspaper here. He is not one of the good
representatives for the union movement, yet probably bleats about
people losing their job under work choices.

# I wouldn't rush off to NZ too readily, as "Unions may be left rudderless
in new Labor workplace", says "The Age" (25/9) in its Business section.
Sub-titled: "Rudd's IR policy is barely any less hostile to unions than
Howard's".
Of course, any government likes peace and quiet, so it can get on with the
job of running the country. Also, the ALP has to water down its policies to
be amenable to Business, or it isn't allowed into office. But then, trying
for any kind of industrial democracy under a capitalist ethos is ultimately
a contradiction.
After all, the aim is to maximise profits, and workers are merely a cost
factor; a regrettable, but necessary, part of your firm's operation. So,
the fewer workers you have, and the less you pay them, the better off you
are.
"The workers, united.." are less likely to be defeated than otherwise.
The chant, in other respects, may be bravado - if threat of crippling fines
can stop you attending a street march.
The ALP is the lesser of two evils?

You might be right, but even if so there are a lot of Labor supporters
out there who've patiently waited for their turn since 1996. I don't
think Kevvie and his mates are going to permanently bugger anything
up, but my house is going on the market fairly soon after the election
if they win.
